Collision Avoidance

This 3' x 6' platform tests the ability of an autonomous robot to avoid randomly placed obstacles. There are three zones separated by black taped lines. Robots must navigate from zone to zone as quickly as they can without moving any objects or falling off the platform.
Points are awarded as followed:
1 point per second for every second on the platform, for a maximum of 5 minutes and/or 300 points. 10 additional points for each time you cross into a new zone in sequence. The sequence is A->B->C->B->A->B... Crossing back over the same line without crossing the other line doesn't count. So if you cross from zone A to zone B for 10 points, you must cross into zone C for another 10 points. Touching an object is OK as long as it doesn't move. Moving an object is a 25 point deduction. Knocking an object off the table is a 100 point deduction. Greatest number of points wins. There is no weight or size limit in this event.
Sorry, No R/C robots!
