The 8 x 16 arena is for robots greater than 3lbs or 3lbs and up with active weapons. The modular design allows for fast setup and tear down. The ten clear panels are made of 5/8 inch hockey arena acrylic and 1/4 inch polycarbonate. There is a 12 inch steel plate around the bottom edge for impact resistance. Robots as heavy as 30 lbs have battled here and none have penetrated the arena walls.
